Through in-house product testing and performance validation, the design team at ECS Tuning have put together an affordable Big Brake Kit (BBK) for your MK7 Golf / GTI. Utilizing Genuine?Volkswagen brake calipers?from the B6 Passat / CC VR6 4Motion,?you can instantly bolt on better braking and have confidence in the performance and reliability that this kit provides.?
With the ECS 345x30mm Big Brake Kit, the brake pad is moved further outboard from the center of the hub, thereby improving braking system torque, heat transfer and repeatable, high speed stopping. Compared to the original Golf's 288x25mm or GTI's 312x25mm brake rotors, it's clear to see why the ECS BBK offers immediate improvements!?
To prevent brake pad deposits and reduce fade, the included cross?drilled and slotted ECS V4?rotors?dissipate?heat faster for better braking and reduced fade. Slotting cleans the pads by moving water, gasses, and contaminants away from the pad/rotor contact surface to further enhance braking performance.?To prevent rust pitting and corrosion damage, ECS V4?rotors feature an electrostatic coating.
This kit?includes cast finish?calipers?that were originally fitted?to the B6 Passat?/ CC VR6 4Motion. Installation of the?new carrier lets your new calipers bolt up with ease.?The ECS custom made,?stainless steel brake lines?complete the installation for 100% bolt on performance.
