A common complaint about the M6 is that it lacks the exhaust note of its predecessors, namely the E60 M5's V10 symphony. While some of this comes down to the engine itself - there is remove for improvement in the exhaust system. Turner Motorsport evaluated the factory exhaust system, and quickly discovered that for most enthusiasts, removing the rear mufflers was a "sound"?decision,?and that such a modification resulted in effectively no change to highway cruising volume inside the cabin, but a spine-tingling cold start, and a proper BMW Motorsport roar under full throttle.?

A far cry from simply cutting off your mufflers, Turner's Race Inspired Axle-Back Exhaust starts with two expertly crafted, mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel tubes, designed for precise fitment and unimpeded flow. Secured by the stock hangers and easily clamped (no welding required) to the stock exhaust once the mufflers are cut off, it's easy to re-install factory mufflers and/or upgrade to other off the shelf pieces in the event you want a change. Turner's exhaust tips are quad 4" round (perfectly filling the rear valance), and available in polished stainless steel or diamond black, in?slant?or straight cut, and with or without the Turner Motorsport logo etched in.
