Our Research and Development team saw an opportunity to help make the MK7 Jetta platform more user-friendly with an easy-to-install Hood Strut Conversion Kit. Utilizing high-quality corrosion resistant hardware, a custom in-house engineered hood strut and a pair in-house engineered hood strut brackets, install takes only minutes and there is no loss in hood opening height as compared to the factory prop rod, maintaining under-hood working room.

Our ECS MK7 Jetta Hood Strut Conversion Kit was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
