MK5/MK6 GTI, GLI, and Golf R owners know the unreliability of the OEM fans all to well. The factory fan control module is prone to failure, which can lead to overheating that will leave you stranded and potentially damage your engine. The ECS Tuning MK5//MK6 High Flow Cooling Fan Kit remedies these issues. Our in house designed aluminum fan shroud and plug and play harness paired with Spall fans improves reliability, flow and eliminates the ugly plastic OEM fan shroud.

If you are still running your factory cooling fans, what are you doing? By now your cooling fans are worn out, underperforming and not to mention extremely bulky. Upgrading to the new ECS High Flow cooling system gives you piece of mind and a clean bill of health for your cooling system.

When upgrading to our new fan shroud with fresh, cool flowing fans be sure to check the rest of your cooling system! Our ECS Performance radiator is a direct fit radiator with a 20% (TSI) or 65% (FSI / Gen3 TSI) increase in cooling capacity and will help ensure the health of your engine.

  • Water and weather resistant seal around all edges for a precise seal between the shroud and the radiator and to eliminate vibration 
  • Heavy duty EPDM foam around the fan mounting flanges for a precise seal between the fans and the shroud
• Plug and Play Wiring Harness 
  • Direct plug and play solution with all connectors, relays, fuses and switches necessary for install 
  • Two override rocker switches
