This valve is found on the oil filter adapter housing and controls flow to the oil spray nozzles which spray oil onto the pistons. It has a fine mesh screen on it which can become clogged in certain circumstances and should be cleaned or replaced if malfunctioning. Make sure your pistons are getting the oil they deserve.
