To prevent rust pitting and corrosion damage, ECS rotors are sprayed with the special water-based GEOMET® solution, then heated to cure the coating and remove all oil residue remaining from the manufacturing process. These added steps create a durable, lasting rotor surface that resists road salt, solvents and other corrosives.
ECS GEOMET® rotor feature cross-drilling to dissipate heat and slotting to clean the pads by moving water, gasses, and contaminants away from the pad/rotor contact surface. These features combine to further enhance braking performance.
