Alternator Wrench | ES4727399

Some alternators require a splined wrench to hold the alternator while the splined end grips and allows you to turn. This specialty tool will allow you to grip the alternator and take it out without bringing in any other tools in the process.

Features:

• 1/2" drive
• T50 Torx bit end locks the alternator in place while the splined sleeve goes into the pulley for a strong grip that allows you to turn it.
• Services  1998-present day Mercedes-Benz, including 606 (W210), 648 (W211, W164), 642 (W211, W164), as well as Mercedes E300 (1996-1999)
• T50 Torx bit can also be used on engines such as the M57 but will need another piece, such as a pass-through socket, to hold the alternator in those engines. See ES#4743294
