This retrofit kit comes with the " aux in" port and main line to connect to the rear of your stereo deck. This kit can be installed in several locations. Most popular is in the glove box or the panel under the toggle bank console. You will have to drill a hole for theoutput for some applications.
Toggle through the "mode" button once installed till you see the Aux wording come up on the screen.
Works only with MINI factory stereo decks, Gen 1 MINIs.

Takes place of the CD changer socket, so if you have CD changer installed, it will need disconnected.
Does not work with cassette deck stereo.
