The crankshaft pulley is used to drive the accessory belts on the engine. It is located on the end of the crankshaft and transfers rotational movement to the accessory belt, which in turn powers components such as the A/C compressor, alternator, and power steering pump. The pulley includes the vibration damper in to keeps your vehicle from forming excessive vibrations.
Sadly crank pulley failures are a common problem on the 3.0T models.?The rubber has a tendency to crack and if it fully separates?it can leave you stranded.?Because of this we have created this kit so you can pop off that old worn out pulley and bolt this new one on with the included hardware to keep your 3.0T running at peak performance.?
