Crankshaft Timing Sprocket

This sprocket is mounted to the crankshaft, underneath the accessory belt pulley. This pulley drives the chain for timing, and ensures that the camshafts move in rotation with the crankshaft.

* This part is designed for the TSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped TSI or TFSI.
