The exhaust VANOS hub on the S54 has a common failure point where the tabs that lock into the oil pump disk can break, causing loss of VANOS function, or even engine damage. This VAC exhaust hub is the perfect upgrade or replacement for your already broken hub, the larger engagement tabs fit the holes on the pump disk for a more secure fit to avoid the hammering the factory hub faces that causes the broken tabs. Also included is the updated hardware and new valve cover gasket set for a complete and worry free installation.
