Though the E9X M3 was arguably a very well-balanced car, the brakes left a little to be desired. The stock floating calipers used by BMW did the job but were nothing special both in terms of appearance and performance. Luckily, BMW upped their game with the next F8X generation of M cars, featuring fixed multi-piston calipers and larger brake discs. These brakes both looked and performed better than the previous generation's brakes, and with this kit, can be retrofitted directly to your E9X M3 as an OEM+ upgrade! Even better yet, this complete retrofit costs less than most single-axle big brake kits.

As all of the items in this kit are OEM parts that are sourced directly from the F8X brake system and Brembo, replacement parts are easy to find and are relatively affordable, eliminating some of the headaches often caused by aftermarket big brake kits.

When it comes to performance, the multi-piston Brembo calipers and larger 380 and 370mm brake discs are a significant upgrade and offer better pedal feel and feedback. Additionally, the included Brembo calipers feature a top-loading design, allowing for quick and easy pad swaps. This is perfect for on-the-fly pad swaps at the track.

FITMENT & INSTALLATION NOTES:

• Included in this kit are two F8X wheel speed sensors and two connectors w/ pins that allow these sensors to be directly plugged into your E9X BMW's chassis-side harness. The original F8X connector plugs will need to be replaced by the included connectors. This ensures your wheel speed sensors properly fit the included F8X knuckles and connect to your stock wiring harness to allow for proper speed readings and ABS function.
• The rear calipers will need to be spaced about 2mm slightly using M12 washers to ensure proper alignment of the calipers, rotors, and brake pads.
• The rear brake dust shields/backing plates will need to be trimmed slightly for proper fitment.
• As the front knuckles are being replaced, adjustment to your ride height and an alignment must be performed prior to driving the vehicle on the road/track.
