If your water pump is leaking coolant, there is a good chance one of the seals has failed. This is especially common when your coolant level gets too low and your BMW's water pump runs without coolant. The water pump shaft seal can fail as it gets too hot and you will begin to notice coolant dripping from the weep hole found at the bottom of your pump.
We recommend replacing the whole pump to ensure your BMW stays cool for many more years!
This kit includes the basic parts necessary to replace your water pump:
Don't forget to pick up a gallon of BMW coolant as well to top your system back off once you have completed your pump installation!
Servicing your accessory belt and tensioner is also great to do at this time as the belt must be removed before replacing your pump.
