Lowering approximately 1.2"F & 1.3"R for vehicles with magnetic ride control and 1"F & 1"R for vehicles without magentic ride control, the Super Sport Spring has the comfort level of a Sport Spring combined with a lower ride height.
With Volkswagen's introduction of the MQB EA888 Gen3 1.8T/2.0T engine came multiple advancements in technology and production. Significant weight savings were accomplished through molded plastic parts throughout the powertrain; unfortunately, this included the engine's oil pan. Additionally, the ECS skid plate encompasses the full length of the engine undercarriage from the front bumper cover to the front engine subframe to provide complete protection. Conveniently this kit includes zinc-coated steel subframe hardware, aluminum skid plate spacers and all factory mounting hardware for easy installation and corrosion resistance.
