Make building your own catch can setup easy by replacing the factory plastic PCV breather with IE's unique -10AN billet breather adapter plate
This part is designed to replace the plastic breather box setup on the 2.0T TSI engines. This unique plate features two male -10AN ports, which can easily be plumbed to a recirculating catch can. This setup is known to eliminate the faulty PCV valve that comes on the engine from the factory and eliminate any chance of boost leaks from a leaking valve. They feature an internal baffle system, which works well to keep oil inside the valve cover and out the can, only allowing necessary oil mist to enter. With the breather plumbed to a catch can, you will eliminate oil and water vapor from gathering in the intercooler piping and intake manifold, reducing carbon buildup on the intake valves.
This kit only includes the breather plate and breather plate install hardware. You will also need a catch can, boost cap, catch can lines, and fittings to finish your kit. Complete catch can kits for the TSI engines are also available from IE. ? ?
