IE STAGE 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD
This free option is included with a Stage 1 Tune purchase and is for owners who have installed an IE Performance Intake Manifold?(Sold Separately).?IE Stage 1 Intake Manifold software fine-tunes the ECU calibration to match the manifold plenum and runner flow characteristics along with special tuning for the removed runner flaps. Even though tuning now matches higher flow characteristics of the intake manifold, performance numbers are still limited by the factory downpipe. Because of this, Stage 1 IM combination is only recommended for users who are planning on Stage 2 IM in the future, are trying to get rid of constantly failing runner flaps or cracking plastic manifolds, and building for improved engine bay looks.

Included with all Stage 2 purchases, The IE Stage 2 Intake Manifold tune is designed for customers looking to maximize the performance of the factory engine and turbocharger with an IE 2.0T Performance Intake Manifold (Sold Separately). Like Stage 1 IM tune, this software fine-tunes the ECU calibration to match the manifold plenum and runner flow characteristics along with special tuning for the removed runner flaps. Results with a manifold deliver power gains across the powerband, fully realizing the 2.0T TSI stock turbo power potential.
