Crafted specifically for our MK7 GTI, dubbed the "Racewagen," these vents were engineered to combat excessive under hood temperatures experienced on the track. By facilitating the release of hot air from the engine bay, they create ample space for the influx of fresh, cool air, effectively regulating engine temperatures and ensuring optimal performance on the track. Leveraging the existing internal structure of the hood as a blueprint, these vents offer a straightforward enhancement for any MK7 / MK7.5 enthusiast keen on maintaining lower engine bay temperatures and maximizing their on-track experience.

• Vents are packaged flat allowing for the fins to be adjusted for optimal cooling and aesthetics 
• Each vent is attached using 19 stainless steel 18-8 rivets 
• Aligns with the under hood structure for easy install while maintaining structural rigidity of the hood

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

• Our ECS Tuning MK7 / MK7.5 GTI  / Golf R Hood Vents were designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. These vents were torture-tested on our race car MK7 GTI and proven to lower under-hood temperature. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long-term product testing.
