Designed in house, we have designed Performance Engine and Transmission Mounts that control fore/aft engine & transmission movement and allows for seamless power transfer to the tires. Wheel hop is eliminated, throttle response is improved and gear engagement is more precise. This design mimics our hugely popular MK7 mounts redesigned to fit perfectly on the MK8 chassis.
More than just an insert, our ECS mounts iare a full unit replacement that upgrades the bushings to polyurethane and metal to strong, yet lightweight, billet aluminum for the ultimate in drivetrain control.
Locking the drivetrain in place is accomplished through two vertically captured 70A Durometer Polyurethane Bushings, encapsulated between three black anodized, 6061-T6 Billet Machined Aluminum bodies using a zinc-plated, high strength securing bolt.
Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) are minimized over our competitors due to years of product testing and development. Designed to absorb NVH while withstanding extreme driveline forces, we've engineered our bushings using an optimal formula and durometer polyurethane, tuning the natural frequency and preload to the forcing frequency of the engine.
This allows for smooth power delivery through the driveline and to the tires, all with very minimal chassis feedback to balance comfort with performance.
The transmission mount features an anodized bent sheet metal bracket properly supports the factory battery tray. The engine mount features a mounting tab on to retain the OEM mounting location of the washer fluid reservoir on the Golf R and to mount our catch can system. Both mounts come with all new OEM torque-to-yield fasteners for a complete, ready to install package. Simply follow our helpful Installation PDF for installation notes and torque specifications.

**Please note that, while our design far exceeds the competition, the inherent nature of driveline feedback is transmitted through the gearbox, resulting in added NVH through the chassis of the vehicle. NVH will reduce after a few hundred miles as the polyurethane bushings break in.**
