N54T/"is" Engine & Transmission Mount Kit | ES4753048

Drivetrain mounts are tasked with soaking up vibrations from the engine and transmission. As they age, they begin to crack, leading to increased noise, vibration, and harshness. Additionally, extremely worn mounts are known to cause issues with shifting, as they allow the entire drivetrain to shift under load. They can also collapse, risking contact between the drivetrain and components within close proximity. 

This kit bundles OE comfort with performance, featuring the N54T/"is" model solid rubber engine mount. Many find the factory mounts to be too soft, allowing the engine to shift excessively under heavy torque applications brought about by turbocharger upgrades and the like. Conversely, aftermarket Delrin or polyurethane mounts are much too harsh, causing excessive harshness in the cabin. The engine mounts found on the 335is and 1M are perfect for this application and are sure to offer improved performance over collapsed and deteriorating factory components.
