Once the camshaft bracket is removed, this valve is checked by applying .5 bar of pressure on it for 1 minute. If the pressure drops within that time, it should be replaced. This valve should be checked whenever the camshaft bridge is removed for strainer inspection.
*The cylinder head must be removed in order to replace this check valve. It is held in place by the o-ring. Make sure this valve is located in the bottom of a new cylinder head prior to installation.*
