Oil Check Valve Service Kit | ES3178158

Engine block located oil check valves control oil flow to the cylinder heads and chain tensioners.  Located under the valley pan, these valves tend to stick in the open position, not allowing oil to be retained in the cylinder heads once the vehicle is shut off.  If caught in the early stages and timing chain guides are still intact, this kit can be a solution to the 'warm start rattle' issue.
