The oil pump chain tensioner keeps the oil pump chain tight to the crankshaft sprocket to keep your oil pump running. If the tensioner has worn, you may experience a rattle from the chain. Replace your faulty tensioner to keep your chain tight and oil pump running properly.
* This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
