The snub mount is located and front of the engine and hinders the engine from swaying during shifts to reduce driveline lash and aide in power transfer. Replacing your factory snub mount with ECS Tuning's polyurethane mount will decrease the slack allowed by the OEM durometer, limiting the movement of your engine during acceleration and shifts. Through extensive research, ECS decided on a 70a durometer poly for the best balance of density and comfort so excess vibration is not transferred into the cabin.
