MINI high performance cold air intake air intake fits MINI Cooper S R53 02-06 with integral heat shield. Heat shield is manufactured from low thermal conductivity composite to keep the hot air of the engine out of the intake air. Special fabrication allows heat shield to conduct cold air directly from the OE high pressure intake system.
Kit comes complete with special RACING DYNAMICS high performance air filter, composite heat shield to insulate engine heat from the cold air intake charge for increased performance and mounting hardware to mount to existing chassis locations.
