The factory M3/M4 intake, while functional, could use some improvement. If you consider yourself a BMW enthusiast - or a car enthusiast, for that matter - then you understand the innate importance of intake noise and quality upgrade components. Turner's S55 intake gives you both of those things, while maintaining a great fit and finish that integrates seamlessly with OEM inlet ducting and stock mounting locations. While engineering this intake, Turner meticulously collected data to ensure MAF scaling matched factory intake exactly to maintain correct AFRs. Offered in aluminum, the inlet pipes carry a lower cost than our carbon fiber intake kit.

Product details:

Aluminum intake Tubes:

• Design allows clearance of fan shroud, coolant hoses, and front of the engine bay. 
• Features gradual transitions to avoid sharp bends and maintain constant cross sectional area from the MAF
• MAF scaling matches factory intake to ensure correct AFRs
• MAF sensor flange and vacuum line port machined from 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum

Heat shields:

• One piece aluminum design
• Wrinkle black powder coated
• Provides barrier for hot air to be pulled into the intake
• Supplied pre-cut gold heat tape
• Heat shield mounts in stock location with supplied hardware

Air Filters

• Conical hi-flow reusable
• 8 ply oiled cotton gauze 
• Bellmouth filter flange inlet to reduce turbulence in order to maximize flow
