It does the job
The house does the job technically but there may be some issues you run into. The first issue is that the noise pipe coming off the old throttle body hose will have a noise pipe that comes off leading into the cabin. ECS sells a kit to delete this hose. DO NOT BUY THIS KIT. The delete kit only works on the VW R32 even tho this hose will fit both cars, the delete kit won’t. What I did was buy a cheap rubber hose end cover and clamp. The hose is still just sitting there useless but it water tight and doesnt get in the way. The second issue is that either I installed it upside down and it doesn’t fit or the logo was printed on the wrong side. Either way it fit on there and I don’t mind the lack of logo, it’s more sleeper that way. In hind sight I should of just bought the Nuspeed air intake kit. All in all, it works but fit and finish wasn’t that great if you include the noise pipe issues. Also keep in mind without the noise pipe you will get better air flow to throttle body but the engine will seem quieter from inside the cabin
