Product Overview

With an internal vane structure identical to stock rotors, these one-piece StopTech SportStop Drilled Rotor is a direct replacement rotor that fits Original Equipment calipers. Its drilled design helps remove unwanted debris between the pad and disc resulting in increased bite and improved stopping power. .

Cooling Vane Design - Nearly all StopTech SportStop Drilled rotors have unique hole patterns for the left and right sides of the vehicle. For these directional patterns, straight vane or pillar vane rotors are used to ensure that a drilled hole never touches a cooling vane.

StopTech SportStop Drilled Rotors’ finish helps prevent glazing of the pads to improve dry/wet braking performance. All rotors are finished with a durable black coating on the non-swept areas to prevent unsightly corrosion, as well. Additionally, StopTech SportStop Drilled Rotors feature a durable black e-coating on the non-swept areas of the rotor to prevent corrosion. The black e-coating is on both sides of the hat, inside the the cooling vanes, and on the outside edge. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting.

StopTech SportStop Drilled Rotors rotors are designed to beat the challenges of high performance driving and represent one of the most cost-efficient performance brake upgrades offered in the market today.

While grooved, drilled and slotted rotors offer an enhanced appearance and add some resistance to the boundary layer of gasses that can build up between the pad and rotor, they are not designed to withstand the extreme temperatures that are produced on the racetrack. If they are used on the track, it is very important that the rotors be carefully inspected and should not be driven on if even minor signs of deterioration are seen. Note, too, that if any products are used on the track they are not warrantable.
