The timing chain in your MINI can start to have the common rattle. Common symptoms of failure include excessive vibration or “slap” from the timing chain, and the possibility damaging your engine. If left untouched, the issue can compound itself so far as to allow the timing chain to jump out of time, leaving you with a potentially damaged head and larger repair costs.

This kit has been assembled using some genuine MINI components. Recommendable after repair to change engine oil and filter , ECSTuning has many oil service kits available from Genuine MINI to aftermarket.

This kit includes OEM MINI and aftermarket IWIS parts.

• Timing chain tensioner

• Timing chain guide rails , both sides

• Timing chain bolts with washer

• Timing chain ( IWIS )

• Timing chain tensioner Screw plug
