TSI Balance Shaft Service Kit

If your balance shafts fail, many problems arise. ?Make sure to properly replace them to avoid costly future repairs. ?This kit provides all of the parts necessary to replace the balance shafts in your TSI engine. ?It is also recommended to purchase a timing chain service kit for a complete service, as the chains and gears are removed for this repair. ?the lower timing cover may need replaced if damaged during removal. ?Also be sure to check out our engine oil and coolant sections to choose your personal brands of oil and coolant for this repair.

Kit includes:

• Intake Balance Shaft
• Exhaust Balance Shaft
• Exhaust Balance Shaft Guide Tube
• O-ring for Intermediate Shaft Sprocket Guide
• Intermediate Shaft Sprocket (necessary for proper back-lash after balance shaft replacement; there is an anti-friction coating on the new sprocket)
• Balance Shaft Securing Bolts
• Intermediate Sprocket Bolt
• Water Pump Pulley Bolt
• Silicone Sealant (80mL)

**It is recommended (if balance shafts do not slide in place)?to place balance shafts in freezer and then install due to?tight tolerances.**
