With the track in mind, Turner Motorsport delivers again with these solid aluminum motor and transmission mounts. A traditional rubber mount will flex and twist which can result in a slight loss of torque delivery to the drive line. With solid mounts, there is zero deflection resulting in no loss, and maximum power delivery. On the transmission side of things, a solid mount will provide smoother, crisper shifts, by reducing drive line slop. The result is a smoother power delivery, and increased driving performance.?
These mounts are?a no-compromise design for all-out racing use. Full solid aluminum mounts should not be used on street-driven cars. Because there is no material to absorb vibration these will be quite harsh for regular street use (track cars don't care about noise).
