The mission for Bav Auto's sunshades is to make the best-fitting, most durable, and effective sunshades available. These sunshades use a reflective, strong (but flexible) material that is ideal for use as a sunshade. Custom fit for each model (no "universal" fit parts here!) these sunshades are durable for repeated use.

Use is super simple, especialloy considering how helpful they are. Just unroll, place securely on the window with included suction cups, and enjoy the security and temperature-insulating benefits of reduced UV rays. When you're ready to drive off, simply roll them up with the included VELCRO® strap, and tuck neatly in the trunk or back seat.
When parked in the sun, expect an average cabin temperature difference of 25?F (as much as 40?F have been measured with sunshades on all windows) which translates to less UV wear-and-tear on interior components and less scorching-hot seats and steering wheel. For many, the most important aspect of lower cabin temperatures is having less work for the air conditioning to do, resulting in lower energy requirements meaning improved efficiency and range.
Bavarian Autosport served the needs of BMW and MINI enthusiasts from 1974-2019. In 2019, ECS Tuning acquired the Bavarian Autosport brand, committing to continuing the tradition of excellence Bav Auto is known for. Over the years, Bav developed their own brand of parts, accessories and upgrades. A lot of these parts are engineered and built by OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers companies who make original parts for BMW, MINI, and other European marques). Just as BMW and MINI do, we work with a variety of manufacturers in Europe, Asia and North America. In many cases, we have sourced parts that are superior to Original Equipment.
A lot of time and resources have been put into developing and evaluating these products, as well as the companies who produce them. We stand behind every product we sell. If any product fails to meet our standards or our customers' expectations we won't sell it, and we're certainly not going to put the Bavarian Autosport name on it. In fact, we're so confident in the quality of these parts that we back every Bavarian Autosport brand part with a 2-year warranty.
