The water pump in your vehicle keeps all that coolant flowing freely. If it begins to fail, overheating problems are inevitable. Don't take a chance on doing damage to engine internals by not replacing your water pump. Water Pump failure can lead to your vehicle making an unnecessary trip to the repair shop. If your pump stops working, coolant temperatures rise rapidly and can overheat the engine, leading to head gasket or even piston ring failure. This is a great preventative maintenance item when doing any type of timing belt replacement.

This is a common replacement around 60,000 miles.

Kit Includes:

• Water Pump (w/ thermostat/housing and temp sender)
• Union Piece (w/ two O-rings)
• Water Pump Belt
• 2 Round Head Screws (Audi recommended replacement for either side of temp sender)
• Balance Shaft Pulley Bolt (Left-Hand Thread)

Coolant loss when doing the water pump replacement is inevitable, so be sure to get some factory approved coolant shipped to your door.

* This kit is designed for the TSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped TSI or TFSI.
