As a common failure point amongst all BMW models, the water pump should be serviced every 60,000 miles. While doing so, it is good to change the thermostat to ensure proper functionality of your vehicle's cooling system. Thankfully, ECS has combined these parts in one simple kit to make your cooling system refresh even easier. 

To further enhance the effectiveness of water pump replacement, this kit includes a 90*C (194*F) thermostat produced by Hamburg Technic. Opening roughly 15*C earlier than your factory thermostat, this unit is very beneficial for performance applications.
