Our ECS Tuning In-House Designed & Engineered Quad Tip Axle-Back Exhaust System gives your VW the enhanced performance upgrade you've been looking for! Our Axle-Back system locates four of our ECS Tuning Swivel Exhaust Tips within our ECS Rear Diffuser for a sporty Euro appearance upgrade that's found nowhere else! Not only does our exhaust system add a German sports car look, but we bump up the volume by deleting the OEM muffler, which adds a smooth exhaust note that allows you to enhance your driving experience with your 1.4 liter turbocharged engine!
Our exhaust system is made from high quality brushed T304 stainless steel with Tig-welded joints for an exceptional look and durability. Our exhaust connects to your stock exhaust system with 1 simple cut and then routes spent exhaust gases to a pair of our CNC-mandrel bent 57mm tailpipes before splitting into a quad-pack of slant-cut 3.5" swivel exhaust tips. Extremely durable, stainless steel, barbed exhaust hangers are Tig-welded in place and an additional exhaust hanger is included for the passenger's side tailpipe.
Our included ECS Tuning Quad Tip Rear Diffuser features a deep profile, an aggressive blade design and exposed tip openings to house our ECS Tuning 3.5" swivel exhaust tips. The diffuser was designed and engineered in-house to add an aggressive appearance upgrade while supporting our quad tip exhaust system.
** NOTE: The rear valance is only serviceable on R-Line and SEL Premium models, other trim levels will need to convert to the aforementioned trim model rear bumper to use our diffuser (see ES#4040412 instead).
PART DESIGN
Designed and engineered in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment. Mimics the design of our carbon fiber version as closely as possible for similar styling.
Featured on Jamie Orr's MK7 Jetta 2018 SEMA build and tested on the Nürburgring and the Autobahn
Made from lightweight, vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer
CNC-Machined tabs for perfect engagement
Mimics the lower section of the bumper & OE valance lines to accentuate OEM features
Utilizes the dead space behind the OE valance to simulate a functional diffuser with great depth
Outer blades blend into quad exhaust housings that accommodate up to 3.5" OD exhaust tips, on either side of the diffuser, and will work in tandem with our ECS Quad Tip Axle-Back Exhaust System or Borla Quad Tip Catback.
Mounts to OE clip locations and OE holes on the outer edges of the bumper with our supplied, stainless and corrosive resistant zinc hardware.
Includes a wrinkle black powdercoated, 5052 aluminum bracket to add rigid mounting to the center of the diffuser.

T304 Stainless Steel 12mm barbed round stock exhaust hangers Tig-Welded in OE locations for precise fitment. An additional exhaust hanger with mounting bolt is included for the passenger-side tailpipe.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Our ECS Tuning Quad Exit Axle-Back Exhaust and Gloss Black Rear Diffuser were designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
